Habits that save the most time
- ✓Learn F5 to F9 first: they cover most daily entries.
- ✓Create ledgers with Alt+C without leaving the voucher.
- ✓Use Alt+G instead of hunting through menus.
- ✓Prefer Alt+X cancel over Alt+D delete for vouchers you may need to explain later.
A note on versions
Shortcut behaviour can differ slightly between Tally Prime releases and on laptops where function keys need the Fn key. If a shortcut does not work, check the key shown in the button bar on the right of the screen, which always lists the active shortcuts.
